GUIDED YOGA AND MEDITATION

Both yoga and meditation have been proven to decrease mental and physical tension and stress. These practices also allow for an increase in brain function and performance. These aspects are vital for the enhancement of overall health and wellness.

Both yoga and meditation can be easily implemented into any daily or weekly routine. Implementing these habits can greatly impact those in the workforce with busy schedules and varying experience levels.

SCS has provided videos of guided meditation and yoga practices aimed to help relieve common mental and physical workplace discomforts.

WATERMELON & GOAT CHEESE SALAD WITH CITRUS VINAIGRETTE

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp orange juice
  • 1 tbsp red-wine vinegar
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • freshly ground pepper
  • 8 cups mixed greens
  • 4 cups diced watermelon
  • ¼ cup thinly sliced red onion
  • 2 oz goat cheese, crumbled
  • ½ cup chopped hazelnut

DIRECTIONS

1. Whisk oil, orange juice, vinegar, salt & pepper in a large bowl until wellcombined
2. Add greens, watermelon, and red onions
3. Toss to coat
4. Top with goat cheese and hazelnuts
